To nominate your hero, email us at [email protected] before Nov. 29.
As the holiday season approaches, TBnewswatch is looking to celebrate the people who are out in the community making things better for the rest of us.It could be a neighbour who's always around to lend a helping hand, a tireless volunteer, a teacher or a coach who goes the extra mile, or anyone else who's making a positive difference in the city.
If you know somebody who deserves to be recognized, don't wait until December! Nominations are open now. Send an email to [email protected] with a description of your holiday hero and tell us how they help the community. Please also include a way for us to get in contact with them. We will be accepting nominations from Nov. 12 to Nov. 29. TBnewswatch staff will then choose 12 submissions to feature on our website. Profiles of your Holiday Heroes will be posted each weekday starting on Dec. 5.
At the end of the month you, our readers, will vote to choose one of the12 Holiday Heroes to receive a $500 prize courtesy of Sullivan and Associates.
