The film has been shifted around twice now due to the coronavirus pandemic. “No Time to Die” was originally set for April 10, but was postponed to Nov. 25 in light of COVID-19 and the shutdown of most movie theaters back in March. The Nov. 12 release date in the U.K. is unchanged.
James Bond will now go head to head at the box office with Pixar’s “Soul” on the weekend before Thanksgiving, typically a competitive time frame. “Soul” was moved from June 19 to Nov. 20 earlier this year. A few other blockbuster movies, like Marvel’s “Black Widow” and John Krasinski’s “A Quiet Place Part 2” , moved their summer releases to the fall as well.
