Hamilton put together a nice drive, getting deep into Redblacks territory, before settling for a 25-yard field goal by Mark Liegghio with 52 seconds left in the first half. Brandin Dandridge picked off a Mitchell pass, but fumbled and it was scooped up by Hamilton offensive lineman Coulter Woodmansey. On the next play, Mitchell tossed a bubble screen pass to receiver/quarterback Kai Locksley, who scored a 75-yard touchdown on the final play of the third quarter.
