From jonmccarthySUN: Nick Taylor's Canadian Open celebration rolls into England.
Last week, the Taylors stayed near the beach in North Berwick, Scotland, and frequently went into town to soak in the culture. They plan to spend a couple nights in London after The Open before heading home.
“My wife Andie organized a get-together with family and friends. It was a big thing to see a bunch of people the first week I was back,” Taylor said. “I didn’t really touch a club a whole lot, I kind of stayed away from golf courses and spent the time with family to soak in what happened. And it kind of has, but also kind of hasn’t.”
This week marks Taylor’s first Open Championship, an opportunity that has been a long time coming for the 2010 NCAA Ben Hogan Award winner and former world No. 1-ranked amateur. With three PGA Tour victories to his name, Taylor is days away from achieving yet another childhood dream.
