Hello to the next Jem Finch!
in November 2018, will mark Nick's first Broadway appearance as he takes on the Aaron Sorkin adaptation of the literary classic by Harper Lee. He will take over the role from the current Jem, actor Will Pullen.
Though this will be his first time on Broadway, it isn't Nick's first time on stage. Coincidentally, Nick began his theatre career at age 12, when he played the role of Jem in a Seattle production ofIn case you haven't yet finished your summer reading, Jem Finch is the brother to heroine Scout, and both are the children of Atticus Finch. The play follows the plot of the book , in which lawyer Atticus represents Tom Robinson, a black man who has been accused of raping a white woman.
Since opening, the play has become the highest grossing American play on Broadway. Nick also isn't the only new member of the cast — Tony-nominated actor Ed Harris is joiningThe NewsroomNative Son
