Nick Jonas Was Very Close to Falling Into a Coma Before Diabetes Diagnosis (via JustJared)
is recalling what might have happened to him if he had let his diabetes diagnosis go back when he was a young teen.was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was 13 years old after he was losing weight and developed a huge craving for sugary soda.“I was very close to a coma,”“I kept asking my parents — am I going to be okay?” he added. “I was just so concerned that it was going to limit my ability to do all the things I wanted to do. I was very scared — it’s a big life change.
“I found out very quickly it’s a very manageable disease,” he continued. “As long as you’re really diligent.”
