Temperatures will rise to 27C
It is good news on the weather front for Northern Ireland this weekend as temperatures are set to soar.
The region will see highs of 27C over the next couple of days, with little sign of the usual rainy spells until the middle of next week. And with these temperatures, it's warned that both UV levels and pollen levels will be at a high alert. The Met Office has issued warnings for extreme heat across parts of England and Wales into the beginning of next week. In Northern Ireland, temperatures will continue to rise from Friday right through to Monday where it will see its highest.Here's the full weather forecast for the days ahead:It will be cloudy at first, changing to light showers by late morning. After potential rain at around 1pm on Friday, the sun is set to reappear with highs of 19C in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, the rare “amber” warning for exceptionally high temperatures across parts of England and Wales was first issued to cover Sunday and has now been updated to include the whole of Monday. Temperatures are predicted to soar into the 30s, with a 30% chance of seeing the hottest day on record for the UK, beating the existing high of 38.7C in Cambridge in 2019.
