Nathan MacKinnon is famously intense so no one needs to tell him to dial it up when the playoffs start.
"I thought we outplayed them in the first ," MacKinnon said."The shots were 16-12 for us and we had a lot of good chances. They were up one but we definitely had a great second and third." MacKinnon is also without his longtime partner Jonathan Drouin, who hurt himself in Colorado's final game of the regular season. The former Halifax Mooseheads winger was fourth in team scoring this year but is not expected to play in the series.MacKinnon still has three points in two games without Drouin, which comes as no surprise to another ex-Moosehead.
