El delantero brasileño Neymar reconoció que su condición física no es la óptima como para jugar en las dos primeras fechas de la eliminatoria al Mundial con la selección de su país, debido a la lesión que ha reducido su actividad desde febrero.
Neymar abandonó las filas del París Saint-Germain para marcharse al Al Hilal de Arabia Saudí, pero no ha jugado todavía con su nuevo club. Comentó el martes en una conferencia de prensa que la Liga Saudi Pro podría ser tan buena como la Ligue 1 de Francia, si no es que mejor.
“Me siento bien, pero obviamente no estoy al 100%. Mi cabeza está bien y mi cuerpo también”, dijo el astro de 31 años. “Iba a jugar el partido más reciente , pero me llevé un golpe en un entrenamiento y el técnico decidió dejarme fuera, de modo que pudiera venir a Brasil”. Neymar necesita un solo gol para rebasar los 77 de Pelé y convertirse en el máximo anotador de Brasil en partidos oficiales. Se trata de un hito que la Confederación Brasileña de Fútbol no tendría ánimo de celebrar, debido a su conteo diferente de los tantos del legendario futbolista fallecido el año pasado.De cualquier modo, Neymar coincidió en que la marca es otro incentivo para seguir jugando con Brasil.
