We continue our coverage on the attacks on Israel. News 8's Meredith Jorgenson was traveling in Israel earlier this year and shares her experiences.Meredith explains that she was devastated and heartbroken at the news of the war occurring in Israel.
She traveled to the country on a Catholic pilgrimage and says you can't visit the region without realizing how tenuous and stressful the situation really is in the region. She visited Jerusalem and Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ and crossed a border to the West Bank in Palestine. She says she can't imagine what it would be like as a civilian in Israel and having to face this war inside their own borders.
