Prelude to the Best Sommelier of Canada Contest | SaltWireA 20-year-old man is dead after his car left the road and crashed near Fall River Sunday morning.
RCMP spokesman Cpl. Guillaume Tremblay said the car was going north on Highway 102 between exits 4C and 5 in Windsor Junction when it went off the road into the ditch at about 11:30 a.m. The car was heavily damaged in the crash and traveled a distance after leaving the road, Tremblay said. The driver, a resident of Newfoundland, was the only occupant of the Honda Civic. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The northbound lane was closed between the two exits for about four hours while a collision reconstructionist worked at the scene.
