The bonus amounts for family physicians range between $11,000 and $17,000, depending on the remoteness of their location, and will be paid annually. NLMA president Kris Luscombe said the current doctor shortage has demonstrated the challenges of recruiting family doctors work in rural and remote hospitals in the province
