In the race for New York governor candidates are making a final push to sway any undecided voters and both candidates are doubling down on New York City Monday morning.

Governor Kathy Hochul will be greeting commuters at the 72nd Street subway station on the Upper Westside, while Republican challenger Lee Zeldin heads to a station in the Bronx.Despite his anti-abortion stance and his close ties to Donald Trump, he's polling within single digits of the incumbent with his laser focus on crime.

Meanwhile President Biden joined Hochul in Yonkers on Sunday while Former President Bill Clinton met the incumbent in Brooklyn on Saturday."Even before the Dobbs decision came down your governor took action to protect patients and doctors to be sure the right to choose for women in New York would be protected," Biden said. "And her opponent, meanwhile, believes that there should be no exceptions even for rape or incest. None.

Hochul hit the road making stops to some of the state's blue strongholds tackling hot-button issues like cashless bail. Hochul also looked gain support from the LGBTQ+ community. Just Thursday night Hochul held a large rally at Barnard College in Manhattan with some other major names from the Democratic Party-- Vice President Kamala Harris and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
