Finding a warm spot to watch the ball drop in Times Square will be harder to find this year.

The pandemic claimed some Times Square mainstays, including Ruby Tuesdays, TGI Fridays, Planet Hollywood, O’Lunneys Times Square Pub and Heartland Brewery. “We are usually selling tickets up to 4 p.m. on New Year’s Eve,” owner Zane Tankel told The Post on Thursday. “We have never sold out this early and I think it’s because there are a lot of places that are not hosting parties this year” that had in the past.

On average, ticket prices have gone up between 10% and 15% this year, with the average party costing $250 a pop or $500 a pop for a view of the ball, according to Balldrop.com.as the city limited outdoor attendance to 15,000 in the Bowtie area and required masks and proof of vaccination.
