Experience the city in a new way

A new company is creating a way to explore Liverpool this summer by turning the streets into an adventure playground.

Described as a "city walking adventure meets carefully crafted treasure hunt with an urban escape room twist", Go Quest Adventures is providing a new way to experience the waterfront and city centre. Players can take part by using the Go Quest Adventures app on their mobile device, allowing them to become tourists in their own city.Teams of up to five people compete in quests to unlock hidden trails by finding clues, solving puzzles and completing team challenges.

Those who conquer the quest can place on the city leaderboard and enter into a monthly prize draw. The two and a half to three hour quests are usually priced at £27.95 for a group of up to five people, but Go Quest Adventures is currently offering an introductory discount of 20% off a first quest with the code PLAYTODAY.

As the quests are all self-guided, you can start whenever you want and complete it at your own pace. Pre-booking is not required. Kimberly Kniveton, co-founder of Go Quest Adventures, said: "I think people are so busy rushing around they fail to notice the fun and beautiful things all around them. "Go Quest Adventures offers an engaging and interactive way to not only get to know a place, but to see things from a whole new way." To find out more about Go Quest Adventures, click here.
