“The reality is that children admitted to our hospital today are more acutely ill with conditions far more complex than even a decade or so ago. We need and want to do more to help them,” Fullerton said at a news conference on Wednesday. The research at the centre will focus on pediatric health, a contrast to the majority of work that centres on adult patients, said Alberta Health Minister Jason Copping.Article content
