Through the Great Homes Design program, a new home design will be provided at a cost exclusive to Sugar Land residents.Sugar Land City Council recently approved two pilot initiatives to help qualifying residents renovate the exterior of their homes by providing design help or reimbursement for upgrade costs.

“The home designers can give homeowners a lot of creative guidance and creative direction and how they can drastically improve their home through cosmetic upgrades,” said Jon Soriano, the city's community development program strategist. The update program is a reimbursement initiative in which approved applicants can be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $10,000 to cover part of costs for exterior home improvements.
