CLEVELAND — The murals across the city project started Friday night. Artist and muralist Kelle Schwab is bringing a fresh coat of paint to Fleet Avenue in Slavic Village. Schwab is bringing new beauty into the neighborhood.

Under the light of the moon, Schwab is readying her extra-large canvas. A projector beams up her carefully crafted design as she maps it out on the wall. Quine and Schwab are two of six muralists chosen out of 150 applicants by Destination Cleveland for the project. The organization asked artists to bring to life what makes Cleveland and its neighborhoods unique.
