A newly released set photo from one of the two-part Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning movies teases Top Gun-style aerial stunts. Tom Cruise is set to reprise his role as IMF agent Ethan Hunt in a two-part entry in the long-running spy film franchise. Along with Cruise, the next installment will feature Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, and Rebecca Ferguson returning as Luther Stickwell, Benji Dunn, and Ilsa Faust.

The photo shows a camera operator in the cabin of an aircraft using a monitor to observe another aircraft during a high-flying set-piece action sequence. The next installment in the franchise looks to ratchet up the excitement with thrilling chase sequences, a fight scene atop a train, and a motorcycle jump off a cliff. Cruise has continued to prove his dedication to crafting the most compelling and death-defying stunts in cinema. With Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One hitting the big screen July 14, audiences will have to be patient to see if the film's stunts will surpass Top Gun: Maverick's.
