Jena Bailey, the new Program Coordinator and Steward of the Belleville Downtown District BIA Welcoming Streets Program.
The Belleville Downtown District BIA is welcoming a new Program Coordinator and Steward to its Welcoming Streets Program.Behring has been with the program since it began in 2021. Bailey has worked in child welfare, corrections, and with non-profits in the Belleville community for the last 10 years. As program Coordinator she will act as a bridge between community partners, local business owners, and street-involved individuals in the downtown.
She’ll be responding to situations downtown that don’t require police involvement, create relationships with vulnerable people and recommend available services.
