New Jurassic World: Dominion star DeWanda Wise shares some sweet behind the scenes pictures of herself and co-star Sam Neill. Finally set to premiere in June after being delayed from 2021, Dominion is expected to be the third and final Jurassic World movie, capping off the blockbuster dinosaur franchise with an installment that looks like the biggest one yet.
To properly send off this era of the Jurassic franchise, Dominion looks to combine the characters of both World and Park. The former group is led once again by Owen Grady and Claire Dearing , while the latter sees the triumphant returns of Alan Grant , Ellie Sattler , and Ian Malcolm . And in between all the established players, Jurassic World 3 will welcome a newcomer into their midst: Kayla Watts, the former Air Force pilot played by She's Gotta Have It actress Wise.
Jurassic World 3 is still a couple months away, yet excitement has been steadily building since even the very end of Fallen Kingdom. The promise of dinosaurs running wild in the human world presents some untapped territory for the franchise, and getting to see plenty of familiar faces is even more of a perk. It'll be interesting to see what Wise's character brings to the table; fans will get to find out for themselves this June.
