Bottega weds Merry Monarch ice cream with snacks and sips
The cafe menu, curated by Rivera, includes snacky fare like stone fruit bruschetta, garden toasts, a tinned fish board, and charcuterie and paté from next-door neighbor. Maze, who has earned accolades and a cult following from his trailer on Burnet Road, will bring his popular, globally influenced artisanal ice cream in flavors like Oreo miso, mango sticky rice, and POG cheesecake with fresh orange curd to the cafe, which will have a walk-up window in addition to indoor and outdoor seating.
Bottega opens at 2pm on Saturday, September 2. Its walkup hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 7am to 2pm and Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Its indoor hours will be Tuesday through Friday from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday from 5 to 9pm, and Sunday from 8am to 2pm and 5 to 9pm.
