The College Board has published its latest report about the economic benefits of higher education. Here are some highlights:
Among full-time workers, age 35 to 44, education level was strongly related to the percentage who were earning $100,000 or more annually, ranging from28% of those with a bachelor’s degree.
With respect to occupations, the earnings gap between individuals with at least a bachelor’s degree and those with a high school diploma working in the same occupation ranges from 15% for bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing clerks to 75% for first-line supervisors of nonretail sales workers.69% for high school graduates83% for holders of a four-year degree.
