Bottoms Has a Solid Pedigree While it remains to be seen what audiences make of the new comedy, it makes sense that critics have responded so well to Bottoms. After all, the movie comes jam-packed with rising stars both in front of and behind the camera. In fact, most of the cast is coming off at least one critical or commercial success apiece.
This includes Sennott herself, who is a buzzy star off the back of her recent roles in Shiva Baby, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and The Idol. Also on hand is her co-lead Ayo Edibiri, a comedian, writer, and actor who has recently been seen and heard in Big Mouth, The Bear, and Abbott Elementary. Also on hand are Red, White, & Royal Blue star Nicholas Galitzine, No Exit’s Havana Rose Liu, and Succession’s Dagmara Domińczyk.
The creators behind the camera of Bottoms are no less celebrated. This includes Seligman, who made their directorial debut with Shiva Baby . However, the movie also boasts Cocaine Bear director Elizabeth Banks as a producer and pop star Charli XCX collaborating with Cobra Kai co-composer Leo Birenberg on the music.
