After building Loopy Wool Supply online over eight years, Chris Waddy is ready to open a brick-and-mortar location just outside Moncton
SALISBURY, N.B. — Chris Waddy was taking a big risk when she decided to quit her 15-year market research job to pursue rug hooking full-time.since 2015, has spent the last eight years splitting her time between her career and turning her life-long passion into an online business.
“I have a large U.S. customer base, and so that helped build my foundation,” she said. “But with the amount of work coming in, I started to outgrow my workspace, and I needed a new building, hence the journey I’m on now.” The new Loopy Wool Supply retail location is being built from the ground up at 2909 Fredericton Rd. in Salisbury and is expected to be opened in mid-November. - Contributed - Contributed
