SaltWire's Atlantic regional weather forecast for October 17, 2023] | SaltWireBOUNDARY CREEK, N.B. — An 82-year-old Boundary Creek, N.B., man is dead after being struck by a pickup truck late Friday night.
Emergency services were called to a stretch of the Trans Canada Highway in the community around 11 p.m. following reports of a truck colliding with a pedestrian. RCMP said the senior died at the scene while the driver, and only occupant of the truck, was uninjured.An RCMP collision reconstructionist and a member of the provincial coroner's office are both assisting with the ongoing investigation.
