Two Nevada parents were arrested this month by Boulder City Police, after an autopsy report revealed their 8-month-old child died of fentanyl and methamphetamine exposure.
Trooper Estrada of the Nevada State Police made a pint-sized rescue on a Las Vegas highway after a kitten became trapped on an on-ramp. Trooper Estrada can be seen jumping into action to save "Trooper Kitty," who was later adopted into a safe home.
When rescue crews arrived, they immediately began administering life-saving efforts and transported the child to a hospital in Henderson, Nevada, where the baby was pronounced dead. The Clark County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on the child and learned the cause of death was"a result of fentanyl toxicity." The report also found the child had been exposed to methamphetamine.
