You can expect more and more coin tossed to Netflix's prized 'The Witcher' (witchernetflix), including a forthcoming animated feature:

There’s currently no word on if Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra will reprise their roles in the film, or if their characters will even be featured. The film is most likely meant to fill the time between seasons of the show. In Tuesday’s quarterly investor letter, Netflix noted thattook the title of best result for a first-season original TV series that they had. Over 76 million viewers tuned in to the show, according to, which counts viewers taking in two or more minutes of a show as a watch.
There’s currently no word on when the anime film will premiere. The film’s plot seems to concern “a powerful new threat facing the Continent,” which could mean just about anything.
