The streamer is planning to create 'unique universe' from the Willy Wonka creators beloved stories, which includes the likes of 'Matilda,' 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,' 'The BFG' and many more.
Netflix already has a three-year partnership with the Roald Dahl Story Company for animated adaptations, with Taika Waititi and Academy Award nominee Phil Johnston currently working on a series based on the world ofMatilda The Musical.

Netflix and The Roald Dahl Story Company share a deep love of storytelling and a growing, global fan base.
Roald Dahl’s books have been translated into 63 languages and sold more than 300 million copies worldwide, with new one sold ever 2.6 seconds.
