That's right, the iconic singer-songwriter, who was born in Canada but has lived in the United States since the 1960s, has finally gotten his official citizenship. the 74-year-old Young is seen coming down an escalator at Tom Bradley Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center alongside his wife Daryl Hannah, holding his paperwork and waving a small American flag. Fans cheered and congratulated him as he walked by.
Young recently decided to apply for dual citizenship so he can vote in the 2020 presidential election. An , funnily titled "I'm Happy to Report I'm In!!," shows a photo of the legend saluting next to a voter registration table that reads, "Democrats register to vote here."
