A cold front is pushing through North Texas this Thursday morning, but sunny skies can be expected later this afternoon.
A cold front is pushing in this Thursday morning causing temperatures to fall. A north wind will contribute to the morning chill. Meanwhile, the sky is expected to be mostly sunny today. Temperatures will slowly recover this afternoon, especially farther south where the upper 60s and lower 70s will be common. Farther north though, it will be much cooler with highs staying in the 40s up toward the Red River. DFW will split the difference with afternoon temperatures recovering to the lower 60s.
Clouds will move in tonight, followed by a chance of rain for Friday. Spotty light rain or drizzle will be possible at virtually any time on Friday. It will also be quite cool with a light north wind. Additional rain chances are set to arrive this weekend. By late in the weekend temperatures will return to the 70s on Sunday. Sunday night will bring a chance of thunderstorms.
After the chance of a thunderstorm Sunday night, the start of next week will be dry and mild with highs in the 70s.
