The move to 272 Water allowed TheHealthyVibe to better showcase its organic smoothie and coffee bar and give its cannabis business line, the Newfoundland Cannabis Co., its own dedicated storefront. By EvanCareen
Co-owner Megan Kennedy told the Telegram the nutrition and wellness business, which recently celebrated its 10th anniversary in the city, had outgrown its old location on Water Street and when the opportunity presented itself to buy the building just down the road from their former location, they jumped on it.
The main floor of the Natural Vibe has a wellness market and a coffee and smoothie bar, with the second floor housing wellness professionals, including a holistic nutritionist. The third floor, called the Well Room, is being used as an event and rental space. Kennedy said when they first expanded the business from the Corner Brook location 10 years ago, they weren’t sure what to expect but feel they’ve become an established part of the downtown now and are glad they could expand and stay in the same area.
