BREAKING National Weather Service confirms tornado hit Gloucester Twp., Camden County
GLOUCESTER TWP., New Jersey -- The National Weather Service says a storm damage survey team has confirmed that a tornado hit Gloucester Township, Camden County early Thursday morning.
The investigators say the twister struck around 5 a.m. It was classified as an EF1 tornado with estimated peak wind speeds up to 90 mph.Chopper 6 was over Deer Park Circle in the Sicklerville section of Gloucester Twp. [1:45 PM] Storm damage survey team confirmed an EF1 tornado occurred around 5 AM today in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township, NJ with estimated peak winds up to 90 mph.
