President Joe Biden sent or received about 82,000 pages worth of emails through pseudonymous email accounts while serving as vice president, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) disclosed.
The disclosure came as a result of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by the conservative Southeastern Legal Foundation against NARA.
"The American public has a right to know what is in those emails. SLF remains hopeful that now that we have confirmed that the emails exist, NARA will fulfill its legal obligation and produce them in a timely and transparent manner." The roughly 82,000 emails well surpass the 33,000 emails former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton deleted off of her personal server.
