Ron Hornaday dominated the 1996 NASCAR Truck Series for team owner Dale Earnhardt on his way to his first of four championships.NASCAR promised to go beyond just the Cup Series when it announced it was adding 25 names to its 1998 list of"50 Greatest Drivers" in NASCAR history, and it did just that again on Tuesday when it named four-time Truck Series champion Ron Hornaday to the honor list.

Hornaday also won the Truck Series title in 1998, 2007 and 2009. His 1996 and 1998 crowns came while driving for Dale Earnhardt, and his 2007 and '09 crowns were with team owner Kevin Harvick.
