Jeff Gordon, 51, will participate in a IMSA Porsche Carrera Cup North America race weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 2-4.The racing doubleheader will be part of the second-annualNASCAR Hall of Famer Gordon, 51, who retired from the NASCAR Cup Series after the 2016 season and with four NASCAR Cup titles and 93 wins to his credit, will race in the IMSA Porsche Carrera Cup North America race weekend at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, September 2-4.

Ray Evernham, left, and Jeff Gordon were NASCAR’s top crew chief-driver combination through the 1990s.For the Porsche Carrera Cup effort, Gordon will drive a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course at Indianapolis. More than 30 cars are entered in the race weekend. Gordon will drive the No. 24 entry—his number throughout his 25-year NASCAR Cup career—in the Invitational class of the premier Porsche one-make race series in North America as part of the second-annual.
