Investigators have established a timeline for the route taken by the driver before the fatal crash.
RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to investigate a crash that killed a 24-year-old member of the Nanaimo United soccer club.
The 59-year-old driver of the Caravan was seriously injured but has since been released from hospital. Officers found him a short distance from the crash with the help of a police dog. Police have determined that the green van was travelling south on the Nanaimo Parkway at Superior Road at 9:30 p.m.
