Scott Maloney of Prince George receives $150,000 payday in 50-50 draw
When he woke up Friday morning, Nanaimo logger Bill Sutherland was still a few years away from retirement.
“I’m 61 now and I figured I’d be 65 before I retired but now I’m going to retire this year after Christmas. This sure is a life-changer.” Fifteen minutes before the Show Home draw, Scott Maloney’s ticket was drawn as the winner of the second Mega 50-50 draw. The Prince George resident will receive a cheque for $150,000.
