Five dollars from every ticket sold by the Prostate Cancer Centre will go back to the centre itself, as well as proceeds from the game-worn Bret Hart jersey auction and retail sales.
“It’s really important for me to stress to everybody how important the fight against prostate cancer is. And my personal experience — having dealt with that just at the Rockyview Hospital, in particular, and the Prostate Cancer Centre — having done such amazing job for so many years. They saved my life.”
Special jerseys — the third of their kind for this annual affair — were unveiled Monday. The pink and black silks are complete with a Forever A Hitmen logo shoulder patch.
