The Ross Ferry Marine Park is located on the site the former ferry crossing between Ross Ferry and Big Harbour in Victoria County. As part of new funding for community beautification and jobs, the province is doling out $22,500 to Victoria County to the Ross Ferry Marine Park and for digital signs at the Victoria County Visitor Information Centre. Through the first initiative, Cape Breton Regional Municipality is receiving $25,000 toward the $9 million makeover of downtown Sydney. Other beautification projects in Cape Breton include:• $22,500 to Victoria County to the Ross Ferry Marine Park and for digital signs at the Victoria County Visitor Information Centre
“Investing in beautification projects helps make our communities more vibrant, fosters local pride and encourages economic development,” Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing John Lohr said in a statement.
