“Too often, members of the LGBTQIA+ community in New Jersey face discrimination in their communities and their places of work. But our laws are clear: discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity or expression is illegal in New Jersey,” Sundeep Iyer, the director of the Division on Civil Rights, said in a statement.
