The suit is the latest among a handful of interconnected suits by Trenton employees.
A former City of Trenton employee says in a lawsuit her supervisor created a hostile and harassing workplace by repeatedly using sexual remarks, including calling her “hot,” or mentioning her “hot Latina blood.”
Caristina Nunez started working for the city in August 2017 as a clerk in the mayor’s office under former Mayor Eric Jackson. When Reed Gusciora took office in the summer of 2018, the new administration transferred her to the Department of Housing and Economic Development, her suit describes. There, the department’s director, Benjamin Delisle, consistently used sexually charged language with Nunez, and referenced to her Hispanic background, she claimed. Nunez is bilingual and of Dominican descent, she said in the suit, filed in Superior Court of Mercer County.
