SaltWire's Atlantic regional weather forecast for November 7, 2023 | SaltWireFLORENCEVILLE-BRISTOL, N.B. — New Brunswick is adding a new centre of excellence for anglophone students geared towards the trades and manufacturing sector.

The Department of Education and Early Childhood has launched the province’s fifth such centre, aiming to provide students across K-12 with hands-on experiential learning before they graduate.Through lessons, activities, programs and events, students can engage and build their network with the industry, take part in an apprenticeship program, access specialized training centres and internships as well as earn academic credits.

Other partners that helped develop the curriculum content and online resources include McCain Foods, New Brunswick Community College, Malley Industries, Skills Canada NB and Opportunities NB.
