is an award winning celebrity hairdresser and former Head of The Artistic Hair Association in Turkey. He started his career in 1980 and is now one of the most in-demand hairdressers in Turkey, with an ever growing waiting list, where he maintains one of the most fashionable salons in Istanbul. He launchedon King’s Road, Chelsea in 2017. A modern, 2-floor oasis of calm created by a joining of forces with a leading London based Turkish hairdresser Mehmet Bozdal and entrepreneur Ayse Ford.
Since opening its doors last summer, HK LONDON has become a go-to destination for artistic hairdressing in London where clients can also enjoy make up, manis, pedis and threading. Most recently, Hakan has been honoured as a member of the jury for The Hairawards 2019 by Estetica Hellas and sponsored by L’Oreal Paris, alongside other industry greats.My salon is in Chelsea which is my favourite neighbourhood as well. I love the energy and the vibe in the area.
