New mutant strain of mpox with ‘pandemic potential’ discovered as health chiefs call for ‘urgent measures’
A MAJOR outbreak of a mutant mpox strain has been declared a public health emergency in Africa by health chiefs.
"This declaration is not merely a formality. It is a clarion call to action.
