The defence is seeking to have Moss — a former tattoo artist in his late 30s — declared not criminally responsible due to a mental disorder, which it links to a brain injury that one expert believes caused the psychosis. Rod Gregory, Moss’s defence lawyer, urged Court of King’s Bench Justice Steven Mandziuk to find his client not criminally responsible, submitting a timeline of previous psychotic episodes he argued had no connection to marijuana use.Article content
