The Municipality of the County of Annapolis has announced plans for a new park in Cornwallis Park dubbed Annapolis Basin Tidal Beach Park. - ContributedCORNWALLIS, N.S. — The Municipality of the County of Annapolis has announced plans to develop a new park in Cornwallis Park. The new park, dubbed Annapolis Basin Tidal Beach Park, is composed of 3.16 acres with 10 parking spaces, including accessible parking spaces and potential for expansion.
“The tidal beach along the Annapolis Basin has been a hidden gem for a long time,” said Annapolis County Warden Alex Morrison.Amenities will include an accessible pathway to the tidal beach, a pathway around the parameter of the land, picnic/sitting areas, a bike rack and an accessible viewing platform.
