MUNFA, University Enters Final Day of Negotiations Before Strike Deadline
Memorial University and the union representing faculty were back at the bargaining table on Saturday, trying to avert a looming strike.Faculty represented by MUNFA have set a deadline for midnight tonight to reach some kind of compromise that would head off a disruption of classes and services at MUN.
On Saturday, MUNFA got a solidarity boost from MUNSU, the student union, as well as the Federation of Labour, which came together for pre-strike preparations that included sign-making.
