A mum-of-two who wholly transformed her unassuming council house into a stunning abode with a few clever bargains has showcased her ingenious home makeover on TikTok. Posting under the handle @fajolu_family_home, the savvy DIY-er shared a video where she disclosed three minor modifications that have made a major impact. She captioned her post: 'It's the little things that make all the difference. Things in my council house I'll never regret.
As a finishing touch, some modest yet charming lights, bought from Amazon, were added to the stairs for a cosy ambience. The installation process was simple, with the lights wired in and controlled by a switch providing a warming glow that complemented the newly placed carpet. Last but certainly not least was the addition of twinkling lights from B&M to the garden, instantly creating a cosy atmosphere in the space.
