MultiVersus is the most played game on the Steam Deck
What makes this particularly interesting is that MultiVersus is a multiplayer-focused game, and even though it veers into the casual side of gaming, we would have guessed that more people would play this one with a wired setup on a notebook or desktop for the best possible internet connection.
That being said Valve is working to make the Steam Deck’s WiFi as solid as possible with the most recent update to the handheld PC addressingUnfortunately, despite making mention of a comparison to desktop users, Valve doesn’t provide a similar list to compare the above to, so we have to get our own.from Valve itself which is a constantly updated hub for the number of players on steam.
There’s no way to just show desktop users so the numbers below will also contain those on Steam Deck. It’s still worth looking at, however, to see what’s popular on Steam overall compared to just the Steam Deck. MultiVersus goes from first place in the top 10 to last place which is still an impressive feat given how new the title is. More multiplayer titles, many of which you’d probably want to play on mouse and keyboard, instead inhabit most of the top spots here.
